…Charlie’s Angels…

Every year I do a photoshoot for these two.  If you follow my blog then you’ve virtually met Charlie and his sister Maya.  Charlie is one of the cutest, fun-loving kids you will ever meet…and he has cystic fibrosis.  Those afflicted with this terrible disease don’t have a life expectancy of over 40. Everyone  is working hard to find a cure to this terrible disease.  You can come out and help everyone at the Charlie’s Angel’s auction this summer.  Usually the auction takes place in the spring, but Charlie’s aunt is battling cancer right now, so it has been moved to August.  Pray for them all.  To find more on Charlie’s story and the auction visit this SITE.

Isn’t Charlie’s shirt ADORABLE.  I knew the minute I saw it, I needed it for the shoot.  Little Luna Blue carries the brand, Scotch Shrunk, and gladly donated the shirt for the session. Thanks Anna!!  Maya’s clothes are from my fav Matilda Jane, Crewcuts, and Wovenplay.

Michelle – you are the most generous, amazing beam of light! Thank you so much for all you do to help us in our fight! We cherish our time with you and couldn’t be more grateful. And next time I promise not to let Charlie pinch your bootie! Thanks again – you are magic!

Senior Rep Shoot!

…so I decided to do a senior rep shoot at the lovely Kuhs farm this year.  Well, that day and we lucked out with gorgeous temperatures but the wind was Gale Force…no joke.  Blowing horses and carriages over…well it could have anyway.  Holly Speakes did the hair/make-up for the girls.  Needless to say, they were perfect!

Thank you Devyn, Kelsey, Kailyn, and Madeline.  You were all amazing!!

…Chic Retreat and a lovely young lady…

So I’ve arrived in Seattle for the first ever Chic Retreat of which I am 1 or 7 speakers.  We literally chased the sunset on the way here.  What a wonderful thing it was to be able to watch a sunset for 3 hours.  A serious treat my friends and what an honor it is to be here surrounded by such wonderful talented ladies.  Kelli France, Heidi Hope, Kara May, Jean Smith. Leah Remillet, Laura Winslow, Sarah Cornish I can’t wait to hang and get to know everyone, especially the 55 attendees.  Of course I have to give a huge shout out to my amazing sponsors…the seriously rock, PhotoFlashDrive.com, Design Aglow,  Finao, and  Diversified Lab.  Amazing company’s to partner with because they all are companies I use consistently.

Now Speaking of amazing ladies, let me introduce you to an amazing young lady.  Stephanie…Senior Class of 2013.  Good luck in your endeavors Stephanie, you’ll do amazing things!

Carolyn and her Josh…married.

No one wants rain on their wedding day, but when you have hearts as happy as theirs, you can’t help  but be wrapped in sunshine.  We ended up having dry time during portraits…so God was good to us.  It was such a special day.  So much love and adoration in every room we entered.  It was truely a blessing to bare witness to it all.  Thanks to the Shulman’s and Baron’s for being such wonderful hosts on such a special, laughter filled day.

I just have to ask…that blur effect you do, like in the photo with the groom and two groomsmen, do you do that with a certain lens or is it post processing? I am a big fan, love seeing your work!
