…Support Habitat for Humanity…
Hello world! My beloved friends at Matilda Jane are doing their annual auction to benefit Habitat for Humanity. I’m having a wonderful time here in Seattle, but I wanted to stop by and let you know about this amazing auction. I myself have put a couple items in there. Big ticket items…like wedding photography ahem.. So go bid on it, and support a good cause and in the process get a wedding photographer! 100% of the proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity. Travel expenses for me are not included in the package.
Happy Bidding!!

…Lauren and her Christopher…
…oh how I adore these two. Hearts of GOLD I tell ya…hearts of gold. Lauren is the brains and buxom behind Dr. Scholls these days. So much talent packed into one little body.
I remember Lauren telling me that they had gone out to the Gardens of Malmaison(their venue), a year to the day of their wedding. It was a gorgeous day. 70 degrees, a light breeze. Perfect.
Well the day of their wedding was the polar opposite. It was about 40 degrees and wet. The sun never did show his face. Not ideal for an outdoor wedding. Oh but let me tell you…it was just as beautiful. The smiles were contagious, hearts were light, and laughter was abundant. What more could you want on your wedding day?
On a funny note…can you believe their last name is Fox? Just take a look at them and you’ll understand why this is so humorous.

…Krysta and her Joseph…
She is a dancer…he is a med student…and when they are together all eyes are on the two of them. They are so kind and loving towards each other in such a natural way. It’s such a joy to be around. I can NOT wait for their wedding in June.
Just you wait until you see her dress. I die. You will too.
Stay tuned because I have a wedding that took place at St. Alban’s coming your way soon!
XOXO

…Rachel and Bradley….married…
I’ve told you before and I’ll tell you again, if you’ve never been introduced to the smoldering melodies of Mrs. Rachel Brandt then you should remedy that. She and her Bradley are both amazing musical artists. After Rachel performed one evening at a local venue, Bradley overheard her gushing about her love for Jackson Browne. He knew he had to know her, and the best way to win her heart…well, that was to be a Jackson Browne fan too. So he went home and learned an entire Jackson Browne record to play for her . Needless to say…it worked. She walked down the isle to a song she wrote for her Bradley. It gave me chills.
Their wedding day was magical. Gorgeous light…a cool breeze…and lots of happy hearts. A stellar combination for an at home wedding.
The fact that I now call them friends…well it kinda makes me feel like a rockstar.
I can’t get over their invites…so perfect for the marriage of two musicians.

…Laura and her Dominic…married…
ser·en·dip·i·ty [ser-uhn-dip-i-tee]
So there once was a girl who met a boy. She thought this boy would be perfect for her best friend. Her best friend thought she was crazy…until she met him.
The rest is history. A wee bit serendipitous if you ask me…;)
Overlook Farm had so many places to shoot..I may have been foaming at the mouth a bit…and talking in sentence fragments…
a little family photo before the ceremony.
and yes, such a breathtaking backdrop for a sweet intimate wedding.
we literally ran for a few sunset shots. Can you say Mr. and Mrs. Darcy…?
the reception was perfect…perfect perfect perfect. From the tables, to the flowers, to the china, to the desserts, to the speeches. I felt so cute sipping on my coke in a bottle with a cute little straw.
Laura and Dom…you two are precious…and a huge thanks for introducing me to CutCopy…kinda obsessing over them! XOXO
