…Hope & Drew…

…married…

…their wedding day was set to the most fantastic weather.  All who were present, matched that wonderful weather with cheerful and happy spirits.  It was a day engulfed with happiness and serenity.  A lone hawk even had to circle the ceremony to revel in the peace and happiness that illuminated from the bluffs.

…They are truly a couple that compliment one another.  Hope has the most infectious laugh and Drew is her quiet admirer.  They are not only passionate about eachother, but also about their music.  Influences from which they brought into their wedding day.  Sheet music and old player piano scrolls served as the table runners along with Hope’s collection of vintage cameras(which was amazing).  Family baked all the desserts…which included the wedding cake baked by Hope’s 14 year old cousin…(yes you read that right).  Hope and her sister recyled old barn wood to make all the sign’s for the day.   Oh, and  I must add that I have never enjoyed reception music the way I did on Saturday.  Radiohead, Crosby Stills and Nash, Coldplay…the list could go on and on…

Enjoy a peek into their day of love…

…Carrie and Eric…

…All the days of my life…

…the verse from the ceremony that resonated through the valley.  A simple phrase with such a profound meaning.  There stood a man and woman, who had greeted each other earlier under the shade of a mimosa tree and showered one another with hugs and kisses , now ready to pledge all the days of their lives to the person at their side.

This wasn’t a new concept for Carrie and Eric.  When they planned their wedding they did it as a joint effort.  Each pledging their devotion to the other through thoughtful acts.  Carrie, knowing Eric’s love for maps, had cufflinks made for him.  One with a map of the city in which they live, Atlanta; and one of the city in which they were married.  Eric designed and built the arbor under which they were to pledge their devotion, and drove it a grueling 8 hours to the site of their vows.  The also spent Saturday after Saturday perusing old book stores and library sales to find titles relevant to their wedding day, which they then used as part of their centerpieces, and then gave to the guests as parting gifts.  They both dedicated themselves to making the wedding day special…and that my friends, is truly special.

It was a magical day filled with laughter, tears, butterflies, happiness, and most of all love.  Thank you Carrie and Eric for sharing your story with me…

…Lejla and Edin…

…Lejla and Edin were both born in Bosnia, but it took their journeys to America to finally find each other. Edin, was Lejla’s brothers’ best friend at college and the pair met almost 10 years ago at a concert, while Lejla was visiting him.  The stars aligned, and these two souls whom had traveled so far, finally found eachother.

…but their travels had only just begun…since, they have been around the world together, gotten degrees and doctorates with the other at their side, and now they have joined their hearts forever with their families adoring support.

They were blessed with an amazing day…full of laughter, tears, and most of all…hope for a future filled with love.

I seriously don’t know where to start…there is so much fabulousness from this day, I think I will have to do multiple posts.

The day began at Chase Park Plaza with hair and make-up by the fabulous Holly Speakes.
