…The Mentorshop…
It is official! The date is set…the location reserved…I am SOOO excited! The official date for the first Mentorshop is June 4-6. Host to the event is the breathtaking Chandler Hill Winery in lovely Defiance, MO. Be prepared to learn lots, take some awesome pictures, eat some yummy food, and soak in some serene scenery. I can not contain my excitement for the event! It is going to be STELLAR!!!! Registration is only open to the first 10 people to sign up. …Happy Thanksgiving…
There is so much I am Thankful for everyday. My family, our love for one another, our health, my friends, our home, our jobs, …my sanity…although the last one can be a bit finicky…
I would like to take the chance to pray for happiness and hope…and most of all forgiveness. Think of one person with whom you hold onto hurt or hate. Now say out loud that you forgive them and wish them happiness. Now say it again….The world is a better place now. Carry it with you in your heart. I would bet it feels like a lighter load.
Look at this amazing photograph of the people who make my world a better place…without them…ugghh can’t not even fathom it…
I am Thankful for Deb for giving me this priceless piece of art…
and to all of my family and friends whom I won’t be seeing today.

…ugghhhh….
…my back is breaking, my hand is numb, my eyes are bugging out of my head, I think I just heard Lukas crying in his sleep(AWE), and i seriously may never get around to doing my own Christmas cards this year…but I had to some share some cuties from this past week…
Anyone else out there cooking their own turkey this year? Growing up SUCKS. Granny or mom can’t always do the deed…although they may not realize what they are getting themselves into…
I can picture it now…in lieu of the age old question “Would you like dark or white?’…my guests will be getting “Would you like raw or charred?’…I say…Just cover it with cranberries and quit your whining…
I was going to show more…but he numbness in my hand has now wandered into my skull cavity…
I think I just saw rabbits jumping around the room…

…my precious…
…as I awoke this morning I could feel him running his fingers through my hair. He was whispering something into my ear, but couple deaf ear with a drunk-like slumber; I couldn’t make out what it was. I rolled over with a big sigh and carefully removed his knee from my back. I began to drift back into a sedated state when I felt him playing with my hair again. He ever so sweetly leaned over and whispered “I love you so much mommy. You’re so beautiful and so wonderful. I love you forever.” …No joke. My little 5 year old boy…he is that sweet.
I have often thought about where true bliss comes from. For me it is putting love out into this world and and the bonus I get when it boomerangs back at me…I love my children with all that I am….and it is such a wonderful feeling knowing they feel the exact same way. Life is a constant quest for love and affection…I have to go no further than my front door. Thank you God for such a blessed life.
You know what else makes me happy…knowing that one day(a long time from now) my little man will know how to love someone else. My momma always said you can tell how a man is going to treat you later in life by the way he treats his momma. It is so freakin true…It should be a chinese proverb…if it isn’t already lol.

No heart breaker here…I’m sure he will have his sweet little heart broken a couple times, but the gal who snatches him up will be one lucky lady. Of course, we are talking 20 years from now. I am NOT letting go until then…;)
