…Lejla and Edin…
…Lejla and Edin were both born in Bosnia, but it took their journeys to America to finally find each other. Edin, was Lejla’s brothers’ best friend at college and the pair met almost 10 years ago at a concert, while Lejla was visiting him. The stars aligned, and these two souls whom had traveled so far, finally found eachother.
…but their travels had only just begun…since, they have been around the world together, gotten degrees and doctorates with the other at their side, and now they have joined their hearts forever with their families adoring support.
They were blessed with an amazing day…full of laughter, tears, and most of all…hope for a future filled with love.
I seriously don’t know where to start…there is so much fabulousness from this day, I think I will have to do multiple posts.
The day began at Chase Park Plaza with hair and make-up by the fabulous Holly Speakes.

…a little self-promotion…
…is that allowed? If you know me, then you know that I absolutely loathe promoting myself…
If I worked for a company that didn’t bare my name then I would have no problem…promote away! but I just feel like a second grader begging for a best friend…kwim…
Regardless…I am doing it!

…Class of 2011…
…lonely souls out there, prepare to eat your hearts out.
First I have Mike from Pacific High School. It’s rare to meet a teenage boy that wears his confidence in the form of a smile and polite manners. Most, think you have to defend your confidence with a tough persona…not Mike. At his young age, he knows that being confident is embracing all that you are, putting it out there for all to know…and above all else…being a gentleman. This young man is going places!! So glad to have been a part of that journey Mike.
Meet the hilarious, adorable, ever-so-humble…Mike Howard.
Next up is Sierra from Timberland High School. She is a sweet, gorgous young lady whose skills on and off the soccer field will take her far in this life! Not to mention she has the most adorable dimples…sorry Sierra, but you do…;)

…attention all clients!!!
…will you stop being so fabulous in front of my camera so that I could possibly blog about all of you in one post? No…you say? Well then, you’ll just have to stay tuned later this week for some more fabulous high school senior pictures…and believe me, you want to come back…this 2011 senior guy is such a cutie…
but now I would like to introduce to you another of my 2010 wedding couples, Jeremy and Melanie. Within 2 minutes of being around these two you can, without a doubt, tell why they are madly in love with eachother. Melanie has an amazingly gentle spirit, and then you couple that with her stunning beauty…hold on to your hearts boys! Then we have Jeremy, the gentleman, with his charming wit and uncanny ability to make Melanie gush with laughter. Together they are a match made in heaven and are saying their “I Do’s” at the Blue Sky Vineyard in September. I can’t wait!!!
I could go on and on and on…but I must show you this adorable little fellow. In minutes…he had completely stolen my heart. Mom said he is such a serious little fellow( I have one of those too) but he was all smiles during the session. Mr Monkey says “Hi Zach”

…sunshine…
…did I ever tell you guys my Uncle Owen calls me Sunshine…I have always thought that was just the sweetest thing…
but on another note…was last weekend not dreadful, fellow Missourians?? I had to reschedule all my sessions…without these next two rays of sunshine I may not have made it through the week. I love a good thunderstorm…but days and days of rain…sorry mother nature, but you’re disrupting my bread and butter…give us a little break…at least on the weekends…;)
So Seniors…my how I love shooting them…and I have quite a few scheduled over the next few months and I can’t wait…bring em on…
How about lovely Maddie…she will will graduate from Timberand High Class of 2011.
and then sweet precious Johanna…I have known her mommy and daddy since college. It’s so amazing to meet the babies of people I have known for so long…
Congratulations Beth and Dave…she is BEAUTIFUL…
