…Angie and Matt…
…it was a gorgeous July Saturday when Angie and Matt said their “i do’s”. Tears were shed, laughter was heard, and love was felt by all who were present. It was a joy being a part of your wedding day Angie and Matt. Thank you.
how dang sexy is that shot of Angie’s legs…geesh…I guess that is what happens when you train for marathon’s…

…gray…
…all day it is has been on the verge of stormy weather…if you looked out the window there were dark clouds to the east, west, north, and south…yet it never rained.
…kinda like my mood today…on the verge of a major storm…
…just a lot of little incidentals that add up to one big “SCREAM”…
…but this afternoon the rain finally did come down and the kids and I splashed and laughed and played in it for as long as the sun would let us…
…SO…MUCH…FUN…
so many times I thought “man I should run in and get my camera”…but you know what I didn’t…
…doing so would take me out of the fun equation…and sometimes I have to remind myself I am a mommy first and photograher second and actually allow myself to be “in” the moment.
I did take mental pictures though
I wonder if they will remember our “rain dances” when they are older?…sigh…

Amy, Jordan, and Rose came all the way from West Plains, Arakansas for their family shoot! Amy is a fabo photog down that way!! I sure hope they thought it was worth it!! I just adore these shots!!
Oh and other fun news!!! My styled wedding shoot from a few weeks back was featured on the fabulous Elizabeth Anne Blog!! How cool is that???

…Happy belated 4th…
…I have been super busy these last few weeks…work…life…and over this 4th of July weekend I couldn’t help but reflect on how lucky I am to have it all…
did I mention that I HATE sparklers…my granny always said we shouldn’t hate anything…but 20 kids and 20 sparklers…that’s enough to send me off the deep end…thank God for the booze that calmed my nerves, but I must admit my voice is gone from screaming…too many near tradgedies…
I think I have mentioned this before…but we breed really good looking kids in Missouri…don’t you agree??

…Ron and Jodie…engaged
So I have to say that once again…I am saddened by this post…not because I don’t love the shots I am about to show you, but because I can’t show you every.single.shot from their shoot.
Ron and Jodie are two of the most creative people I have ever met. When they said they were going to bring some things for their shoot…I had no clue they meant they were going to scour STL and IL for the coolest finds ever, pack them in their car and drive an hour for a fabulous engagement shoot. I have to mention that Jodie made the boutineer and bouquet you see in these pics…I was beyond floored! …and seriously check out their save the dates…
Can’t wait for their December wedding!!! xoxo
