…Melanie and her Jeremy…

…married…

It was the most sensational day.  The flowers and catering by Kindling were amazing.  The weather was fabulous and Blue Sky Winery was breathtaking.  Coupled with two people who can’t get enough of each other….and you can’t go wrong.  Melanie was elegant and regal in her Enzoani gown and Jeremy was the handsome romanic who gave her a wedding day playlist.  How sweet is that???

And I have to give a shout out to the wedding party…they were a riot.  Thank you Melanie and Jeremy for letting me be a part of your wedding day.  You are fabulous, your wedding was fabulous, and your friends are family are fabulous!

Enjoy the peek into your day…

…Stacy and Kurt…

…married.

Stacy and Kurt tied the knot in a sweet intimate ceremony.  They had originally wanted to have a beach wedding in Florida, but after the oil spill opted for something at home with their family members at their side.  Lucky me ;)

Congratulations Stacy and Kurt!

Every single photo is gorgeous but my favorite is the one of the bride putting on her shoe! You are the best at capturing simple moments and making them breathtaking.

…slacker…

wow…I have been pretty regular with the blog for quite a while, but man have I let it slip lately.   Something has to give right?  Stella wants a princess tea party…everyday.  That can’t give.  Luke wants to ride his bike until the sun goes down.  That can’t give.  I really like Danny to come home to a well kept home…that can’t gi…wait…I’ll be honest.  That gives more often than not. You get my drift though.

Life is just passing by so quickly.   I am often reminded that I am getting older( ahem Amber), but to be honest, when I think of myself I still picture the 20 year old version.  Smashing Pumpkins in the cassette player, energetic smile, happy heart.  I guess it’s not a bad thing to live in oblivion…there are worse places.  Someone asked me my age the other day and I actually said 29…because for a moment I actually thought I was.  Fat chance.  I’ll be 33 in November.

I’ll tell you something that did make me feel old tho.  I recently had an engagement session with the beautiful Lorie and her Phil.  Lorie is from my hometown.  I have always thought of her as a happy youngin…a little tot who always had a smile on her face and cheer in her voice.  She is not a tot anymore.  She is a woman, a nurse, a fiance…but she still has that vibrant smile and cheerful voice.  Time passes but some things never change.  I can’t wait for her wedding in December!

…Hope & Drew…

…married…

…their wedding day was set to the most fantastic weather.  All who were present, matched that wonderful weather with cheerful and happy spirits.  It was a day engulfed with happiness and serenity.  A lone hawk even had to circle the ceremony to revel in the peace and happiness that illuminated from the bluffs.

…They are truly a couple that compliment one another.  Hope has the most infectious laugh and Drew is her quiet admirer.  They are not only passionate about eachother, but also about their music.  Influences from which they brought into their wedding day.  Sheet music and old player piano scrolls served as the table runners along with Hope’s collection of vintage cameras(which was amazing).  Family baked all the desserts…which included the wedding cake baked by Hope’s 14 year old cousin…(yes you read that right).  Hope and her sister recyled old barn wood to make all the sign’s for the day.   Oh, and  I must add that I have never enjoyed reception music the way I did on Saturday.  Radiohead, Crosby Stills and Nash, Coldplay…the list could go on and on…

Enjoy a peek into their day of love…
