…Alexa and Tim…
…married…
Alexa and Tim’s wedding day was not looking good the week before. Not only was it supposed to be the end of the world, but it was also supposed to be filled with treacherous Missouri storms. Neither happened. It was a stunning, gorgeous, spring day filled with laughter, happiness, and life. I am so blessed to have gotten to know these two. I can’t wait to take pictures of their family over the years.
The day began like this…

we jetted over to the church for a 10am ceremony. I love this shot. So much going on…

yay…man and wife!

the gorgeous flowers were done by a sweet little family friend named Kim.

loved this set…

City Cottage was the perfect setting for their cocktail reception. Simple and beautiful.

loved the light on the patio…

Thanks so Much Mr. and Mrs. Dombrowski…I hope you have the time of your lives as newlyweds in Australia!

…Keely plus Michael…
…from the first time I had a phone conversation with Keely, I just knew I was going to love her. You have no idea how cute these two are in person. Seriously. They’ve been together for seven years yet their adoration and love for each other seemed so fresh and new. LOVE that!!!
We had so much fun during their engagement session. As you can tell Keely loves to laugh…and Michael knows just how to make it happen. Thanks for an awesome time you two…can’t wait for October!!
first we started out in a 50′s theme diner…

then made our way out for some record store fun…

then went for and turn in the forest…

Love you two!

Just adorable LOVE LOVE LOVE this session!! The “Diner” shots are my absolute fav’s. ( May 26th, 2011 8:45 pm)Love the series in the record store! So adorable!! Great session, Michelle The shot of her standing up kissing him on that stool … Hi there, I just found, somehow your site and blog. I am a photographer from UK and I found your work truly inspirational. There’s so much warmth and feelings in your work. I couldn’t but tell you what a great heart you have (judging by your photographs). It feels like such a blessing to just see the emotions you capture with the camera. Great quality, great compositions, amazing renditions and ideas, superb colours. The people you photograph can only be grateful they have you around. God bless you, Diyan ( May 24th, 2011 10:39 am) |

…Lindsey and Nick…
…engaged…
…and on film…
..I recently attended a workshop called Film is Not Dead. Some of you may not even know how to load a roll of film. It is definitely a dying medium in terms of portrait photography, but one I so love. Lindsey and Nick were trusting enough to let me photograph their engagement session with film. Thanks guys. I freakin love the results…
…I am also reeling with excitment for their wedding in August. It’s gonna be good!!

I did take some digital…

Thanks for stopping by!!

…coming…
…or going…
It’s that time of year. I am already behind on my bloging. I just don’t have time to sit down and prepare the images. Ughhh I hate that, but they will get blogged, just don’t know when.
Big news tho…my little bro is getting married this weekend! I am soo excited! Say a prayer for us that it doesn’t rain…I know that is a big one, because all it does is rain these day…but still. please.
In other news, My girls, Amber and Jill, and I are going to a fashion show put on by the fabulous designer Guy Baxter. All proceeds to benefit Room for One More Child. We plan on channeling our inner Sex in the City…Care to join us??? You can find all the information you need on the organization site. Did I mention how fabulous Turya’s designs are??? Come see for yourself!
In the mean time…enjoy this fabulous little couple. Seriously the giggliest, sweetest, pair your eyes could ever behold. So excited for their wedding this September at the Coronado.
