…Keely and Michael…
…married…
…Keely and Michael met when they were just wee little tots…well freshmen in high school, and have been inseparable since. They are such an inspiration to be around. So full of life and love. Thank you for allowing me to document your amazing day. It was such a blessing to spend the most important day of your lives with you.
the girls did girls stuff…

and the boys did a lot less stuff…

their first look was so sweet and tender…

then we all met up for some portrait fun…It was a photographers dream really.

after the ceremony…the newleyweds were met by a fantastic getaway car…

the ceremony at the Loading Dock in Graton, IL was just perfect. I love that venue…so much character!!

Oh and did I mention that the Nina and the Santa Maria were docked right outside the reception venue?? Yes, the ones we learned about in grade school. Nothing beats a few sunset shots aboard the Santa Maria…

XOXO

…where the heart is…
…right in these images.
I know, you’re thinking…really she still shoots families? Yes, silly…I do. Lots of them these days and I love it! I had to stop by just to prove it’s true!
I just adore all the connections…not just with eachother, but with their surroundings. Makes my heart happy.

…Hello world…
…I’m still here. Total exhaustion…but a huge sigh of relief. We’ve been doing some home improvements, which had to be completed by yesterday when I was having a birthday party for the hubbers. Man. It was a fun time though. I’ve had so many engagement shoots lately, and over the next two weeks I have about 6 more. I love engagement sessions. They are so much fun. So I thought I would stop by and share one.
Steve and Jess are amazing! So is their sweet little gal Isla. They have a pond on their family’s property…no better place for an engagement session and to say goodbye to summer…

The vintage bug was awesome! It just so happens that the best man restores vintage cars…umnn humnn. Wait till you see the one we’re going to use for the wedding! Yippee!

oh yes they did! Freakin love it!

( Oct 24th, 2011 5:00 pm)Did you sneak them on that boat illegally? I wouldn’t put it past you!
I know I’ve said it before, but DAYUM what I wouldn’t give to have you have been a photog when I got married. Too bad we were wrangling middle schoolers back then instead. I’m still thinking I need to do that vow renewal ceremony. Just sayin.
