…I can only imagine how awesome it must be to have Andie and Ted as friends.  I swear Andie is Lucille Ball reincarnated, and Ted has such a hilarious personality.  They are truely just a blast to be around and their wedding day was no exception.  Fun fun fun!! Katie Saeger of Simply and Forever was the event planner and it was perfect down to every last detail.  Andie’s hair and make up was perfect thanks to Holly Speakes. Her flowers from Tina Barerra were exquisite.  Her cakes…delish…the dessert bar…BEST EVER(there was literally a line)!  Thanks for having me along!

…Married in the Rocky Mountains…

…these two are living the dream.  Park rangers in the most beautiful place on Earth…and lucky them, they got to get married there.  Lucky me, I got to take pictures of them, in their home, Rocky Mountain National Park.  We did a sunrise session, which didn’t seem like such an amazing idea to Aaron at the time, but come on….what do you think now?

Stay tuned for their big day…it’ s goin to be awesome!

…kiddos…

I can’t believe how behind I’ve gotten with blogging.  I only have time to sit down and share such a small portion of my work and I feel like it’s always the “big” kids.  So I’ll share some of some kiddos too.

Fall is coming, and there aren’t many available dates.  So please call or email and schedule your appointment soon.

…Amy and Robert…Punta Cana…

There are no words for this wedding.  Every person there felt like sunshine.  Happy, full of life. It was an amazing event to be a part of and they ALL made my entire family feel like a part of the celebration.  Stella still says she misses Amy.

The week was so much fun when the wedding day actually came, I thought how could it be topped with the amazing rehersal dinner!  No worries, because they totally topped it!  I’ve never seen a bunch have more fun right until the last Merle Haggard song.

My favorite part of the wedding was a suprise to us all.  The pastor recited a poem that I have held dear for ages and it could not have been a more magical, emotional moment. Anyone else love this poem by e.e. cummings?  I think I’ve actually shared it hear before.

i carry your heart with me

i carry your heart with me (i carry it in
my heart) i am never without it (anywhere
i go you go, my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing, my darling)

i fear
no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) i want
no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)

sigh…Isn’t it wonderful…

I’m going to share more of the day after session soon.  So stay tuned!

Wonderful photography and beautiful couple. It is like looking through a wedding magazine. May this special day be fondly remebered and may you always look at each other with the same love and admiration. Best of luck

…the Musea gathering…

What an awesome opportunity for photographers.  See inspirational speakers, attend workshops, and make the world a better place all at the same time.  What’s awesome about this is that even if you can’t attend in person, you can sign up for web attendance and watch from home!

I’ll be there…will you?
